Naturopath Bayonne

Bayonne is the capital of Basque naturopathy in the sense that historically, many people who have sought to heal themselves with a naturopath have lived there.

Where can I find a naturopath in Bayonne?

I began by giving consultations at home before setting up my own practice. I set up my own practice in 2013 at 22 avenue Foch in the centre of Bayonne. The practice is now located at 1bis avenue Mazagran in Biarritz. I am regularly invited to give talks and take part in workshops, in particular by associations. As Bayonne is a very popular town, I want my services to be accessible to as many people as possible, so I offer special rates for families, students and jobseekers.

What is naturopathy in Bayonne?

Naturopathy is a set of practices designed to help the body heal itself, using exclusively natural means. It is based on the theory that the body’s vital force enables it to defend itself and heal spontaneously. It therefore consists of reinforcing the body’s defence reactions through various hygienic measures (dietetics, fasting, weight training, relaxation, massages, spa treatments, thalassotherapy, etc.) aided solely by natural agents (plants, water, sun, pure air, etc.)
The origin of the word “naturopathy” comes from two English words, “nature” and “path”, which mean “Nature’s way” or “le chemin de la Nature”. The term “naturopathy” was first registered in the USA in 1902.
Many definitions have been given, but to put it simply, naturopathy is quite simply the art of staying in good health, of taking responsibility for one’s own health and looking after oneself using natural means.
This age-old, common-sense medicine offers a range of natural health methods for optimising your vital resources.
Beyond the definitions that characterise Naturopathy, it is important to remember that this practice is one of the paths to health and well-being that complement the others.
